Katherine Heigl speaks with the world about her "white bubble life" and how it's had an impact on how she raises the children of her adoptive parents who are multiracial. The actress from "Firefly Lane" told the media that it didn't matter the color of her skin to her. But after having a conversation with her adopted Korean American older sister she realized the difference in the way people were treated by her. "I inquired of my sister, Meg whether she'd been treated in one manner while out in public with our parents and a different way when she went out alone without them. She said, 'Oh, yes, every time!' Heigl admitted to her parents that it made her realize just how naive she had been. She said that she was upset and believed she needed to channel her anger on helping her adopted daughters. Heigl shares a son of 4 years with Josh Kelley, her husband over the last 13 years. Their daughter was adopted by them Nancy Leigh, 12, from South Korea in 2009 and Adalaide, 8 and Black from South Korea in 2012.
