April Lockhart

April Lockhart was born on July 4, 1995. in seventh grade. She began playing guitar and taking piano classes, which ignited her love for music writing. At the age of seven she began to take guitar and piano classes. This ignited her interest in writing songs. At the age of 14 years old, April was spending a lot of time writing lyrics and perfecting her musicianship abilities. She started writing songs along with her dad and her dad in NY and LA soon after. April began to include additional relevant subjects into the"Take my Hand song for some friends, such as peer-pressure problems and suicides among teenagers. Lockhart collaborates with popular clean beauty brand Ilia as well as a lifestyle blogger who has a growing fan base. It's true that she was born without a left hand, and it is what makes her different. However, this isn't the only characteristic of her. The profile of Lockhart on Instagram does not cover up her disability, but it does not just focus on the issue. What is the message? The message? We each contain multitudes, that our identities and physical bodies aren't what they appear. Lockhart said via video that she doesn't wish to be defined solely by her disability. She doesn't wish to become a disability advocate who only talks about that. There are a variety of aspects of Lockhart. It doesn't impact my daily life. I conduct every day as normal and have found my own method of adjusting things. In addition, I see that it is a crucial component of my life. Lockhart is a true source of inspiration for self-acceptance in general she is on a long road to reach the goal. Still, she acknowledges going through phases of being uncomfortable with her body, and also feeling uncomfortable wearing some clothing types that exposed her arms. Nowadays, she dresses anything she likes and uploads pictures of herself in these outfits on social media, she is proud of herself. The key to self-love for her is that it's not a goal. It's a long journey. I'm sure that you never reach your destination. People you associate yourself with that truly understand you, and can see inside your soul are the most important people to help you remember what you're worried about.
