Emily Irene VanCamp (Canadian actress) is best known for her lead roles in many television series as well as her outstanding performances in film. There is a huge fanbase in American and Canadian TV. Emily became interested in the performing arts when she was in her 12th grade. She visited her older sister Katie in the film studio. She began taking classes in acting and auditioning when she realized that she had a passion for acting. The first time she was cast, she appeared in commercials, but she was not cast until getting a part on the Canadian children's horror television show Are You Scared of Darkness? She was only seen in one scene, without any dialogue. She got her first big breakthrough at 15, when she got a role as a regular character on Glory Days, a WB series Glory Days. Emily's role in the WB show Glory Days that was cancelled 9 episodes later, drew the attention and interest of Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek. Additionally, a dancer and a photographer Emily was previously ranked by Teen to be one of their most popular actors under twenty. In Maxim's Hot 100 List of 2014 ranked Emily at 51.
